The patterns you see in the pieces in the Frit Burst Collection are created by embedding pieces of crushed colored glass called "frit" in clear borosilicate glass. By repeatedly heating and pressing the glass in a torch flame the color blossoms into organic bursts and swirls.

The backing on this piece is a double silver plate over copper base metal with no lead or nickel. It comes with an 18” Sterling Silver chain. Matte black gift box with magnetic closure is 2 3/4” x 3” x 1 1/4”.
